The workforce at Roger Williams Park Zoo is elated to announce the beginning of a toddler sloth! The lovely new child is born to mother Fiona and pa Westley and is recently resting very easily whilst staying on the subject of mother. The fantastic team of workers of zookeepers and veterinarians are keeping up a watchful eye over the mummy and child, making sure their well-being as they bond at the back of the scenes. With the help of the mummy’s affection, day by day tracking, and supplemental feeding from the keepers, the baby is regularly rising and gaining power.
This beginning holds nice importance for the Zoo and the worldwide sloth inhabitants. The Zoo is an lively player within the Linne’s Two-Toed Sloth Species Survival Plan, which prioritizes breeding to ensure the survival of the species.
The younger sloth is but to be named, however extra updates shall be coming quickly, so keep tuned!
