I went out this morning and had a stupendous Japanese Bluebird making a song…here’s a quote from Thoreau..
“Princes and magistrates are ceaselessly styled serene, however what’s their turbid serenity to that airy serenity which the bluebird embodies? His Maximum Serene Birdship! His cushy warble melts within the ear, because the snow is melting within the valley round. The bluebird comes and together with his warble drills the ice and units loose the rivers and ponds and frozen flooring. Because the sand flows down the slopes slightly manner, assuming the kinds of foliage the place the frost comes out of the bottom, so this little rill of melody flows a brief manner down the concave of the sky.”

And so now, as then, the bluebird is making a song because the ice and snow soften right here in Thoreauland (I are living subsequent to town the place he lived) and produce me pleasure, simply because it did HDT. Complete circle of timelessness, some issues stay to raise out spirits and hearts, simply glance and pay attention.
