Pork, sausage and rooster meat costs all rose by way of 2%

Animal protein costs rose within the final 12 months, with the most important will increase for condensed milk, bacon and pasteurized milk, in line with Grupo Consultor de Mercados Agrícolas (GCMA).
In August 2022, a kilo of condensed milk bought for nearly 74 pesos and for a similar month of 2023 at 80 pesos, an build up of 8.6%. Whilst the kilo of bacon went from 338 pesos to 362 pesos in the similar duration, an build up of virtually 7%.
