Dr. Marcelo Gottschalk and Dr. Mariela Segura with College of Montreal and Dr. Todd Lowary with the College of Alberta, with investment supplied through Swine Innovation Porc, have related a man-made sugar derived from the coating that protects Streptococcus suis to a protein to permit the pig’s immune device to peer the micro organism.
