At 10:35 am on Sept 23-2023, Paul Jacques discovered a Reed/Pallas’s Bunting in Squamish close to the Coho Park Path. The chicken was once perched on a tree close to a marshy house and was once now not associating with some other birds.
Sadly, the footage got don’t display the diagnostic rufous lesser coverts to distinguish it from a Pallas’s Bunting which has gray ones.
The chicken has now not been relocated up to now, in spite of a couple of observers taking a look.

Both species can be a primary document for BC and Canada.
Notice the realm has quite a lot of black bears and birders will have to be undergo mindful.
