Within the first 8 months of this 12 months, Chinese language imports of red meat and offal reached 1.96 million heaps (Mt). Whilst that is 9.5% upper than the similar length ultimate 12 months (1.79 Mt), it’s a long way from the three.83 Mt imported from January-August 2020.
Whilst per month offal imports this 12 months have remained roughly strong (between 90,000 t and 110,000 t monthly) red meat imports have advanced downward from 220,000 t in January to part that during August (110,000 t), the bottom per month price since 2019.
