The Bergplaas Merino Stud Manufacturing Sale used to be held at the farm Prospect on 23 January on behalf of Stephan Nel and circle of relatives.

The best possible value of the day used to be paid for a ram, which used to be bought to Wilhelm Ziervogel of CF Ziervogel Boerdery in Ermelo for R25 000.

Rams completed a mean value of R8 090,91, whilst open ewes have been bought for a mean value of R1 850.
The sale used to be held through BKB, with JP Marais because the auctioneer.
