The day gone by at Duck Hole it used to be brilliantly sunny and *chilly.* Regardless that the temperature used to be 27°F the sunshine wind made it really feel like 17°F. Brrrr!
Charity Kheshgi and I scouted on Thursday and located a pied-billed grebe close to shore who used to be nonetheless found in the similar zone on Sunday. Alas, the seven horned grebes we noticed on Thursday have been lengthy long past.
Regardless of the chilly and (shall I say “stabbing”?) daylight we had fun and noticed 32 species. Our tick list is right here https://ebird.org/tick list/S165818025 and revealed under.
