Pittsburgh’s Maximum Commonplace Hawk | Outdoor My Window

Final week whilst in Tidewater Virginia, I realized that turkey vultures ruled the airspace. On our solution to Pittsburgh the day before today, hovering red-tailed hawks made me really feel like “I’m house.”
Purple-tailed hawks (Buteo jamaicensis) are living reasonably close to us in southwestern Pennsylvania, particularly within the town. Listed below are a couple of photographs of our maximum commonplace hawk, due to native photographers.
