Bugs are making a song whilst songbirds are quiet as they wrap up the breeding season.
Sign up for me for a chook & nature stroll in Frick Park on Sunday, July 28, 2023, 8:30a – 10:30a.
Meet me on the 9 Mile Run Path Parking zone. We’ll take a look at the birds, vegetation and insects within the 9 Mile Run trailhead house ahead of heading over to the boardwalk.
NOTE: If you happen to park in some of the small filth a lot close to a Frick Park access gate, go the street and stroll beneath the arching Expressway Bridge to sign up for us.


We’re positive to listen to goldfinches — will they’ve fledglings? — and notice numerous bugs. This stroll will pass previous where the place we noticed ebony jewelwings in early July. Will they be there?
Get dressed for the elements and put on at ease strolling sneakers. Convey water, a solar hat and binoculars (when you have them).
Prior to you return, consult with my Occasions web page in case of adjustments or cancellations. The trip will likely be canceled if there’s lightning or heavy rain.
