BC Uncommon Fowl Alert: RBA: REED/PALLAS’S BUNTING in Squamish

At 10:35 am on Sept 23-2023, Paul Jacques discovered a Reed/Pallas’s Bunting in Squamish close to the Coho Park Path. The chicken was once perched on a tree close to a marshy house and was once now not associating with some other birds.

Sadly, the footage got don’t display the diagnostic rufous lesser coverts to distinguish it from a Pallas’s Bunting which has gray ones.

The chicken has now not been relocated up to now, in spite of a couple of observers taking a look.
