Call for for US red meat has rebounded dramatically in each Australia and New Zealand, pushing January-July exports to 45,173 mt, up 74% from a 12 months in the past, in step with knowledge launched via USDA and compiled via the United States Meat Export Federation.

Export price higher 64% to $159.1 million. Whilst marketplace get right of entry to is proscribed, recent/frozen US red meat is also imported for additional processing and the area has a rising urge for food for value-added processed US red meat merchandise.

For January via July, those ratios have been 29.9% of general manufacturing and 25.6% for muscle cuts, up from 26.8% and 23.6%, respectively, a 12 months in the past.
