Early this week a large flock of American robins got here to my group, ate all of the fruit they may to find, and left.
On Monday morning, 18 December, they had been frantically consuming this pyracantha fruit out of doors my window. At one level I counted 45 however they had been transferring so speedy I believe there have been extra.
The birds had been frantic as a result of they knew dangerous climate used to be coming. In mid afternoon it snowed.
The following morning the fruit used to be long past and so had been the robins.
American robins are nonetheless in Pittsburgh however they’re feasting in different places. When the fruit is long past and the bottom is frozen, the robins will go away.
