Japan buys and sells feed by means of so-called SBS auctions

Japan will import 17,810 metric heaps of feed-quality wheat, and 220 heaps of barley for farm animals use, by means of a simultaneous purchase and promote (SBS) public sale that closed past due on Wednesday, Reuters reported, bringing up the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) on Wednesday.
The ministry had sought 65,000 metric heaps of feed wheat and 25,000 heaps of feed barley to be loaded by means of October 31 and arrive in Japan by means of December 19.
Japan buys and sells its feed wheat and barley by means of so-called SBS auctions, wherein finish customers and importers specify the foundation, value and amount of grain, permitting millers to satisfy their numerous wishes for the feed grain.
