Annually younger Cooper’s hawks (Accipiter cooperii) fledge in June/July and learn how to hunt in July/August. Once they’re self enough they disperse, after which they begin to migrate.

Cooper’s hawks consume birds for a dwelling in order that they migrate with their prey. Their height migration continues now via mid October on the Allegheny Entrance Hawk Watch.

How did they get thus far? Let’s have a look again to August as some younger Cooper’s hawks highest their looking ways in New Jersey. It comes to a large number of leaping.
