Beef Braised in White Wine

Red meat is in most cases cooked in pink wine however this Niçoise model is a scrumptious trade.

  • 6oz (175gr) mushrooms, trimmed, quartered

  • 2 cup white wine
  • 2 tbs flour
  • 4 tsp olive oil, divided
  • 1518 Greek, dry-cured black olives

  • 4 bay (laurel) leaves
  • Warmth 2 tsp olive oil in Dutch oven over medium warmth.
  • Upload onion, bacon and sauté till onion is soft, about 5 mins.
  • Take away and drain all however 1 tbs oil / fats from pan.
  • Go back pan to warmth, upload pork, a couple of items at a time, and brown on either side.  When all pork is brown, upload garlic, sprinkle with flour and prepare dinner, stirring, a couple of mins longer.
  • Upload wine, stirring up the browned bits at the backside of the pan.
  • Go back bacon, onion to pan, upload tomatoes, herbs, and produce to a boil.
  • Cut back warmth to a sluggish simmer (small bubbles simply breaking the skin), duvet and let prepare dinner for two hours.
  • To complete:
  • quarter-hour earlier than pork is completed, sauté mushrooms in final 2 tsp olive oil.
