Best possible birds this week have been observed at Presque Isle State Park on Sunday 12 Might whilst birding with Charity and Kaleem Kheshgi. At Leo’s Touchdown most of the birds have been at eye stage together with this blackpoll warbler and the barn and financial institution swallows.

Even the treetop birds, like this yellow-throated vireo, cooperated for pictures.

I had top hopes for the Chook Banding at Hays Woods on Wednesday 15 Might however we have been in for a wonder. No birds to band! Bummer. 🙁 This restart banded some other day presentations what we may have observed.

Once we left the banding station we had excellent appears at a scarlet tanager and located this Kentucky flat millipede (Apheloria virginiensis). It’s coloured black and orange as it’s poisonous.

This week there have been plant life within the tulip bushes (Liriodendron) obscured by way of thick leaves. This flower got here into view when a squirrel bit off the twig and didn’t retrieve the department.
