The Philippines’ agriculture ministry mentioned it was once banning the imports of birds and poultry merchandise from Australia on account of a chook flu outbreak in Australian states, reported Reuters.
Imports from Australia of untamed and home birds, together with poultry meat, day-old chicks, eggs and semen will probably be right away stopped, the ministry mentioned on Saturday.
As of April, Australia ranked because the Philippines’ fourth-largest supply of imported hen meat, accounting for 4% of its overall quantity of hen imports.
