“Pigs, cows, chickens, and turkeys really feel ache and worry and love their households identical to canine do,” says PETA Government Vice President Tracy Reiman. “PETA urges any person disturbed through the speculation of cooking a dog to increase that compassion to all animals and pass vegan.”
PETA—whose motto reads, partly, that “animals don’t seem to be ours to devour”—opposes speciesism, a human-supremacist worldview.
