A brand new bankruptcy to beef up Danish animal welfare has begun with 31 projects having been agreed upon by way of a huge majority of the governing events (the Socialist Other folks’s Celebration, the Liberal Alliance, the Conservative Other folks’s Celebration, the Radical Left, the Danish Other folks’s Celebration, and the Choice).
The settlement “In combination for the Animals” is Denmark’s first animal welfare settlement and comprises projects to verify higher animal welfare for manufacturing animals and pets.
Projects particular for pigs come with advanced piglet survival, phasing out farrowing crates, required coaching for staff, elevating extra pigs with intact tails, laws for sprinkler programs, anesthesia for castrating piglets, and efforts to extend sow survival.
