  • 10oz (300gr) beef, minimize for stir-frying
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 crimson bell pepper, sliced
  • 4oz (120gr) mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 ribs celery, sliced
  • 3/4 cup peas, (4oz, 120gr) frozen, thawed, no sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup (4oz, 120ml) hen broth
  • 1/4 cup (2oz, 60ml) sherry
  • 1 tbs cornstarch (Maizena, corn flour) dissolved in
  • 1 tbs soy sauce plus 1 tbs water
  • 1/2 cup (3.3oz, 95gr) Basmati rice
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 cup (8oz, 240ml) hen broth
  • Rice:
  • Soften butter in small saucepan over medium warmth.  
  • Upload rice and sauté, stirring for two – 3 mins.
  • Upload broth and prepare dinner rice for duration of time on bundle. 
  • When completed fluff with fork.
  • Stir-Fry:
  • Warmth part of every oil in a big nonstick skillet over medium-high warmth.
  • Upload onion, pepper, celery to skillet and stir-fry for two mins.
  • Upload garlic, mushrooms, and stir-fry every other 2 mins. 
  • Take away greens and put aside.
  • Upload closing oils to skillet and warmth.  
  • Upload beef and stir-fry 3 – 5 mins, till properly browned.
  • Go back greens to skillet, upload peas, broth and sherry.
  • Warmth to boiling, duvet and simmer 3 mins.
  • Dissolve cornstarch in soy sauce. 
  • Upload cornstarch aggregate to pan and stir till thickened.
  • Serve over Rice.

Notes

Use beef loin or tenderloin for this. 
You’ll be able to replace dry vermouth, white wine, or extra hen broth for the sherry.
