Right here they arrive! It is getting finchy in the market! There have been giant numbers of migrating finches noticed lately at Tadoussac chook observatory (The Observatoire d’Oiseaux de Tadoussac) which sits on the mouth of the St. Lawrence River in Quebec, and had 2,232 Pine Grosbeaks, 474 Commonplace Redpolls, 213 Night Grosbeaks, 134 White-winged Crossbills and 43 Pine Siskins. Stay the ones feeders stuffed and palms crossed you’re going to see a few of these stunning irruptive finches that come down to please us each and every few years.
