Wisconsin boy, 12, shoots undergo because it mauls his father


A 12-year-old boy fatally shot a black undergo because it used to be mauling his father in the USA state of Wisconsin, say flora and fauna officers.

Owen Beierman, 12, took intention on the undergo because it pinned down his dad whilst they have been on a criminal looking travel.

“Owen used to be a hero,” Ryan Beierman, 43, advised the Minneapolis Celebrity-Tribune. “He shot that undergo and killed it on best of me.”

The assault came about in Siren, Burnett County, on 6 September, consistent with the Wisconsin Division of Herbal Assets.

The pair have been trying to find black undergo close to the circle of relatives’s cabin once they noticed the 200lb (91kg) bruin.

Owen shot and injured the animal, which ran off into dense wooded area.

They gave chase, and as they entered a glade the animal charged at Mr Beierman from about 6ft (1.8m) away.

He stated he fired 8 pictures on the bruin together with his pistol, however ignored.

The undergo bit him within the stomach, arm and leg.

“I began pistol-whipping him and it felt like I used to be placing a brick wall,” he advised the newspaper.

He described seeing the flash from the muzzle of the boy’s rifle.

“I used to be flat on my again and may really feel the bullet going during the undergo,” Mr Beierman stated.

He required stitches to reattach a flap of pores and skin to his cheek, and had puncture wounds to his arm and legs.

Officers say undergo assaults are very uncommon.

9 such incidents have been reported within the state between 2013-22, consistent with the Wisconsin Division of Herbal Assets.
