World Layer Distribution GmbH, a subsidiary of the German-based EW Workforce GmbH, and Couvoir Ovo Inc, Wickham, QC, obtained a majority stake in Archer’s Poultry Farm Ltd., with the Archer circle of relatives ultimate shareholders within the corporate.
Archer’s Poultry Farm is a distribution corporate promoting Lohmann Breeders logo layer chicks, pullets, and feed in Ontario.
This 12 months marks the 78th anniversary of Archer’s Poultry within the Canadian hatchery business. Based by way of Cecil and Florence Archer, the Archer circle of relatives has effectively evolved the corporate through the years. Gordon and Susan, and Doug and Iris Archer, ran the farm with pastime and constructed a brand new hatchery within the Sixties at the side of a feed mill.
The 3rd era of the Archer circle of relatives, Kim, Sherry, John, and Stuart have persevered to toughen this proud circle of relatives legacy. Underneath Stuart’s time as President, a brand new state of the art hatchery was once inbuilt 2016.
